Ask within 14 days and you get your money back. No reason required, and no conversation to get out of.

Right to cancel

You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The period expires 14 days after the day the contract is concluded.

To exercise it, tell us plainly — an email saying you want to cancel is enough:

You may use the model form below, but you do not have to. To meet the deadline it is enough that you send your message before the period expires.

Effects of cancellation

You will be reimbursed all payments received from you, without undue delay and not later than 14 days after the day we are informed of your decision. The refund is made using the same means of payment you used, and you will not be charged any fee for it.

You are asked to stop using the software and delete your licence key. That request is made on trust: the key will keep working, because activation is offline and there is nothing to revoke. That is stated plainly rather than implied to be a technical control.

Digital content, and why you are not asked to waive anything

EU and UK law normally lets a seller start delivering digital content immediately only if the buyer agrees to it and acknowledges losing the right to cancel. You are not asked to give that up. The 14 days are granted as a contractual term regardless of when your key arrives, so accepting immediate delivery costs you nothing.

The cooling-off provisions of the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions do not apply to this kind of sale. The 14-day policy above is granted voluntarily and applies to buyers in Japan on the same terms as everyone else. See also 特定商取引法に基づく表記.

Donations

Donations towards the free VCV Rack modules are gifts, not purchases, and are not refundable as of right — but if you gave by mistake, say so and it will be returned.
